Visual Artist
María Tinoco is a Colombian visual artist who embarked on a transformative journey from her homeland to New York to pursue her artistic dreams. She graduated with a BFA in illustration from The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, focusing on fine arts.
Art has always been a source of joy and energy for María. Her ultimate purpose is to share these profound feelings with her audience, creating connection and engagement. María's approach to painting is deeply personal and emotional. She uses the creation process to channel her vulnerabilities onto the canvas.
María's artistic inspiration is not confined to painting alone. The diverse mediums she usually practices, including dance, writing, jewelry making, and speed painting, influence her work, enriching her art with a unique blend of backgrounds.
